Brendan O’Keefe - Managing Director
I am the Managing Director of Epic CIC. I was formerly a Senior Probation Officer with London Probation Service, I joined RBKC in 1998 to lead the then pilot Youth Offending Team, one of only eleven in the UK at the time. I joined the Youth Support and Development Service in 2005 and in 2011 I began the project that eventually led to the creation of Epic CIC, the UK's first youth service mutual. I have been appointed as a Cabinet Office Mutuals Ambassador and advise local authorities on the creation of public sector mutuals. I am also a visiting lecturer at the University of London. I hold a Masters Degree from the London School of Economics and a level seven ILM accredited qualification in strategic management.

Paddy Radcliffe 
  Since September 2017 I have been Head of Operations, International, at On Purpose, a not-for-profit organisation attracting and developing leadership talent for the social business space.  Prior to On Purpose I was a partner, consultant and coach with Telos Partners. There I worked closely with CEOs, their teams, and boards, advising them on strategy and transformation, and leadership and governance, helping them to create performance and success that sustained over the long-term. My experience has been across a wide range of sectors and organisations, but with a particular interest and focus on impact organisations, including a number of nationally recognised charities, public bodies and social enterprises. Earlier in my career, I was an account director at Tequila, the international marketing agency group (part of the TBWA network), in London and then Cape Town, and have also been an entrepreneur in my own right, including a (successful!) appearance on ‘Dragons’ Den’.  I have an MA (Hons) in French, an MSc in Marketing, and an MBA from Cranfield School of Management. I live in west London with my wife, an actor, and young daughter.
Peter Board - Science Teacher and Data Lead for Epic Learning
I have worked for Epic Learning as a science teacher for four years, during the launch of EPIC, and the gaining of independent school status. I retrained as a teacher after a varied career following on from my science degree. I originally worked providing strategic consultancy services in technology and IPR marketing, and setting up partnerships to bid for research funding from the EU. I then moved to a thinktank managing collaborative technology projects between industry, government and academia. Finally, I Government’s communications and marketing arm, followed by the Qualifications and Curriculum Agency before my teacher training. The skills I hope to use most to benefit Epic and my partners are my strategic thinking, communications experience, and knowledge of partnership working and bidding for funding.
Sion Davies - Relationships, Sex and Education Officer
I have worked for Epic CIC since we became an employee led mutual. My role is based within the Health team and I coordinate the sex and relationships education programme. Which includes the project management of the umbrella project and the coordination of the sex and relationships education training programme for Tri borough professionals. Before Epic CIC I worked in Children's homes in Manchester as a residential child care worker, for 5 years. I then worked as a youth worker in Bolton working with young people people aged of 6 - 19. Using the experience that I have gained over the years, I have developed a fresh and unique delivery style that is engaging and fun.
Terry Brewer

Terry is the MD of Comparatus Ltd, providing independent commercial and procurement consultancy work to public sector organisations.Current key roles include leading on Commercial and Procurement activity for London Grid for Learning, Head of Public Sector Delivery for the Social Value Portal and key assignments for the Local Government Association.

Until June 2017, Terry was Divisional Director Commercial, Contracts and Procurement at LB Harrow and also run LB Brent’s Procurement Team under a fully shared service.  The shared service also provides services to other organisations. During Terry’s time his Harrow procurement team achieved CIPS Corporate Accreditation. He also led a significant Commercialisation agenda to generate revenue for Harrow which is aimed at contributing £15m toward a budget gap of £83m.  

Prior to this he was respectively Chief Procurement Officer for the London Borough of Camden with a staff of 35 across 4 Hubs based in different departments, CEO of Firebuy, a national buying agency for the Fire Service and Head of Procurement for London Fire Brigade. In these roles he negotiated a number of high profile PFI and national projects.

Terry has held a number of Regional and National roles including Chair of the London Heads of Procurement Network for 5 years, a member of the London Procurement Strategy Board,  Deputy Chair of the Local Government Association’s National Advisory Group for Procurement and Deputy Chair of the Society Of Procurement Officers (SOPO) in local government. In addition he was the LGA National Procurement Category lead for ICT and Chair of the LGA’s Social Value Task Force. He has led a number of pan-London projects including a successful   wireless concession contract involving 16 boroughs which will generate many millions of pounds income over the concession period. He is a regular speaker at key procurement and other conferences.

Sue Rush

I am currently Consumer & Market Insight Director for Unilever.  I have spent my career in marketing and worked for various companies including Kimberly Clark, Heinz and United Biscuits and also as a Advertising Agency Planner.  In more recent years I have become involved in company and marketing strategy – my latest assignment has been for Unilever Prestige helping from a marketing perspective to acquire and integrate several prestige skincare and haircare brands to the portfolio.   I have three children one of whom is severely autistic and now lives in a resident home – when my son was younger I was actively involved as a Governor at his special needs school and also had multiple dealings with the LEA to obtain the best outcomes in terms of his specialist education requirements.   I am passionate about developing people and currently mentor a number of young colleagues in my work environment.

Ola Alilaj
I am the Communications Manager at Epic CICand have been part of Epic since 2013. My role is key in developing the organisational Marketing Strategy highlighting key messages, audiences and channels for raising the organisation’s profile. I also ensure that we provide the organisation with robust IT services by overseeing the strategic and operational IT function at Epic.
