Golborne Centre provides a range of activities including, Careers, Education, Information, Advice and Guidance, (CEIAG) during the day-time.  In the evening, young people can access the Golborne Centre which offers activities such as:  Healthy eating and cooking, T-shirt design and music production to the Buddies Scheme, Yoga and the Access Night for LLDD young people.

Our centre is for young people aged 13 - 19 or up to 25 with a lifelong learning difficulty and/or disability (LLDD). The CEIAG service is based at the Centre and provides a range of 1-2-1 support and advice, information and guidance to meet individual needs. Young people can also link to a variety of other projects such as the Teenage Parents (Break 4 U) project which supports teenage parents.   

In addition, young people can access our Health Room and receive advice, information and guidance about a range of health and wellbeing issues and get direct access to sexual health, art therapy services and referrals to many other health and wellbeing services.  

Golborne Centre also deliver term time and holiday activities and house the Serious Youth Violence projects, Epic Learning and Supplementary Schools voluntary sector organisations.

Our activities include Healthier Cooking (cooking on a budget), Gym and Fitness (boxing and weight training), Introduction to Music Production and Creative Arts (themed Project Work - includes cushion making).

Our activities include Healthier Cooking (food preparation techniques) Gym and Fitness (boxing and weight training), Dance WorkshopCreative Arts (themes projects), Sex and Relationship Drop-in Sessions.

This sessions are open for mixed abilities

We have a Girls and Young Women's Group (5pm - 8 pm) which includes discussion on - social issues, off-site trips etc.  

You can also try Yoga and a Fitness session or get involved in Creative Arts with a make-up session.

We also a Closed Dance Session from the SIS Group.

GAP Night for Children & Young People with learning difficulties and/or disabilities

We focus on building healthy positive relationships, improving life skills, self-esteem and self- confidence.

Our sessions include Healthier Cooking, Gym and Fitness, Creative Arts and T-Shirt Designing.  

Open Access Time

This is a drop in session where you can get involved in various activities including Gym and Fitness, Creative Arts and join our Off-Site Activities i.e. bowling, cineam, ice skating etc.

A range of innovative and exciting activities for children and young people, 13- 19 years old and up to 25 for young people with LLDD. Activities include:
